Wyndham Garden Playa del Carmen

Great service and breakfast. Had to walk a little bit to get to it, but we'll worth it.

Can't say it was the nicest place but it worked for us. You get what you pay for and this is what we paid for. The beds were made when we arrived so the room picture was after we slept. But the ultimate happened...hairs. we don't have black hair in our family, but there was a ton of black wet hair in the bathroom.

Room was massive bed enormous, working air conditioning and free breakfast for just £43 for one night - cannot complain. Outside needs some TLC been a long time since it was white like the photos, but bathroom is clean and bed was comfy - expectations were well managed

The Good: customer service, staff are genuine, safe, quiet, pool area, easy to navigate area, comfortable beds, air conditioning, hot water, coffee, wifi, morning breakfast. The Bad: Mold, building needs upgrading and looks really old inside, value is debatable Please throw out the old framed art, change the lamp shades, wash the curtains and walls. Dust and moisture curates mold and because the windows don’t open you need to rotate the fabrics often. Otherwise, this place is among the best places in Playa de Carma. I had a nice stay due to your fabulous staff with such kind natures. Well done HR (Human Resources)! I’ll also post photos of the awesome amenities. Please let me know when you have removed these items, I would love to come back.

This hotel is in a very good location, with everything within minutes walking, and if you don't want to walk they have a bicycle rental service. It is very safe to walk at night l, we walk around 11pm. The service was great, the breakfast was delicious.

This hotel was clean, the rooms were very nice and clean. However, there was a mold sewer smell coming from the toilet and I had to go downstairs and ask the front desk for wash cloths to bathe. The manager on the days I stayed was very nice, helpful and understood English very well.

We had 7 rooms all down stairs no windows , air conditioner. Are rooms were all close together It was good for my family .the beds were soft, room clean , price good , breakfast was ok. The pool is not deep, maybe 4 feet , it was good for us because we had lots kids , we used the pool area The entire staff was friendly to my family. The beach is a 10 minute walk. We used the laundry room. There is only one and you need to make a appointment. It worked great , got all the wet clothes cleaned before we moved on. There is no restaurant at night , but we order pizza other stuff . walking to the beach there are places to eat . If you have transportation there a Walmart about 15 minutes away . My family bought snacks and drinks to take back to the hotel. It was a great stay for us!!!

I stayed here during a dive trip. I come to Playa a lot and tend to rotate places I stay. There was a discount for this place thru my airline. The building is a bit rundown but that's kind of what happens in Mexico. My room was always clean and it was actually very quiet at night. I liked the breakfast they had every morning. Also, the fact that I could have breakfast before 8:00 am was a miracle unto itself anymore. I need places that open at 6:00 am so I can eat before going to dive. In general, I had a decent stay. The only two things I didn't like was that there was no mini fridge or balcony. I usually need to store food and use balconies to help dry my dive gear. That was the big drawback for me personally.
